At the helm of Capacity Catalyst Consulting is Matthew Glover a former funder, seasoned banking professional, and strategic advisor committed to advancing organizational excellence in the nonprofit and social impact sectors. With over 14 years of experience in banking, Matthew brings deep expertise across Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) strategy, lending, investments, mortgage, risk, and project management.

His insider perspective as a former funder, combined with his hands-on financial background, uniquely positions him to help organizations align with funding priorities, strengthen internal operations, and plan for sustainable growth. Matthew has successfully built capacity for a wide range of mission-driven institutions and Community Organizations.

Capacity Catalyst Consulting (CCC) was founded to bridge the gap between vision and execution. We specialize in delivering customized, culturally responsive strategies that empower organizations to scale effectively, enhance financial health, and increase their long-term impact through fund development strategies. Lindsey Brown-Acquaye, CRCM, AAP, brings 20 years in banking, compliance, and community development. She crafts data-driven strategies to expand credit access, affordable housing, and reinvestment. Her work has closed homeownership gaps, created bank-funded grants, and guided multimillion-dollar community investments, blending policy expertise with a strong commitment to equity and under-served communities. Her experience spans HUD Grant Reviews, CDBG and HOME funds.
Brooke Barrera Sheldon is a PhD candidate in International Affairs at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. She has extensive grants management experience, including conducting risk assessments and due diligence for nonprofits and social enterprises worldwide. A former Fulbright grantee and community organizer in New Mexico, Brooke holds a master’s in Global Affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in International Studies from the University of New Mexico.
Liam Steinbauer, a Miami University student is service-oriented and skilled in donor identification and research. A Crawford Hoying Scholar, he’s earned multiple community service awards, demonstrating leadership and dedication to community impact.
